18-Dec-23: 'Catalonia launches new pediatric care scheme'
Every child in Catalonia will live within 30 minutes of a specialist pediatric team from next year, according to the health service's new care model. 79 teams of at least 8 pediatricians and 8 pediatric nurses will operate throughout Catalonia, while the 061 hotline will have a specialized pediatric service from June.
