The American singer-songwriter and guitarist Bruce Springsteen is coming to Barcelona on June 20, 2024, as part of his Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band 2024 World Tour.

On Tuesday, November 14, tickets went on sale, with 50,000 sold in just 30 minutes for his concert at the Estadi Olímpic de Barcelona. At the moment, there are only a few side view and VIP tickets available.

Due to the high demand for tickets, the promoter Doctor Music and Bruce Springsteen's management are currently looking into the possibility of offering another concert in 2024.

2024 tour

Next year's tour will begin in Cardiff, Wales, on May 5. Before arriving in the Catalan capital, Springsteen will perform in Madrid for three days, on June 12, 14 and 17, at the Cívitas Metropolitano.

The tour will include 22 different concerts in countries such as Northern Ireland, Ireland, France, Czech Republic, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway and England, where the last gig of the tour will take place on July 25 at Wembley Stadium.

Catalonia's obsession with Bruce

Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band concert in Barcelona in April 2023 was the starting point of what was considered a tour that "unleashed euphoria," according to Spanish newspaper El Correo.

The first announced gig in the Catalan capital sold out within minutes, prompting organizers to announce a second concert, which also sold out in a matter of minutes.

Over 55,000 fans attended each concert, including former U.S. President Barack Obama and former U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama, filmmaker Steven Spielberg, actress Kate Capshaw and actor Tom Hanks.
