Abidal back home
Éric Abidal is now back home, after having a tumour removed from his liver. The FC Barcelona’s medical services report that his post-operation progress has been satisfactory.
Barcelona (FCB).- The FC Barcelona’s medical services released a statement explaining: “the player was discharged from hospital yesterday afternoon and is now resting at home. The post-surgery process has been satisfactory in all aspects and no complications have occurred”. Éric Abidal is expected to start physical exercise again in one month. Then he will gradually start training again with the team.
According to the FC Barcelona doctors, Abidal: “will continue the recovery process at home and it is estimated that he will be able to begin physical exercise in four weeks’ time and then later to rejoin the squad training sessions”.
