The French technology company Papernest opened its first hub outside of France in Barcelona, from which it’ll expand its activity to the Spanish state; in this new seat, it’ll create some 120 jobs throughout the coming year.

Papernest has in fact contracted 40 people and foresees adding some 80 more during 2019 to work in the Catalan capital, activity which will then complement that of the office in Paris to carry out business development, marketing, and Papernest operations in Spain.

Papernest offers digital services that help with the type of administrative tasks that come with a move – such as changing contracts and subscriptions for energy, internet, insurance – even changing a mailing address.

“We’re opening a new market with a new team, but we share the same objective to simplify the life of millions of Europeans,” explained Philippe de la Chevasnerie. The company was founded with its central hub in Paris in 2015, and includes some 200 workers in France, through whom it helps some 200,000 users.
