Barcelona (FCB).- Medical tests confirm that Carles Puyol has fractured his right cheekbone, according to the report released by FC Barcelona’s Medical Services on Monday morning. The captain will maintain a conservative recovery plan, but he joined his team-mates for Tuesday’s training session to prepare the Real Madrid vs FC Barcelona to be played the next day. His recovery will mark his availability for the return leg of the Spanish Supercup against Madrid on Wednesday.
