In this episode, we take a trip back through his extraordinary life to learn about his contributions to science and his investment in academic organizations in Catalonia. We’ll speak with Joan Anton Català, science writer and educator, who is the curator for the Catlan government’s Any Joan Oró, or Joan Oró Year, which includes dozens of events and conferences to celebrate the late biochemist.

The Catalan phrase of the week is "estar a la lluna de València," which means literally to "be on Valencia’s moon," and is used when someone is distracted.

Presented by Lucía Benavides with Cillian Shields.
