Rosalía publicly condemns 'what's going on in Palestine' after fashion designer backlash
Singer urges pointing out "those with decision-making power," following Miguel Adrover's refusal to collaborate

The Catalan singer and international pop star, Rosalía, has publicly condemned "what is going on in Palestine," a day after a Balearic Islands designer refused to collaborate with the artist.
Miguel Adrover had turned down collaborating with the Catalan singer as she had not "publicly" supported Palestine. The Mallorcan fashion designer posted an email exchange between representatives of the two artists on his social media channels, in which Rosalia's agents were seeking a "custom look" for the musician for an event in September or October.
The response from Adrover's people was frank and to the point - "I'm sorry, but Miguel doesn't work with any artist who doesn't publicly support Palestine."
A day after Adrover's comments, Rosalía wrote in a statement shared via Instagram stories (which disappear 24 hours after being published) that "the fact of not having previously used my platform aligned with the expectations of others does not mean that I do not condemn what is going on in Palestine."
The singer from Sant Esteve Sesrovires added that "it is terrible seeing how day after day, innocent people are murdered and those who should stop it are not doing so."
Rosalía urged pointing out "those with decision-making and action power," instead of pointing fingers at artists.
"I do not see how shaming ourselves is the best way to keep the fight moving forward for Palestine's freedom," she wrote to millions of social media users.
