Fashion designer rejects Rosalia collaboration for not publicly supporting Palestine
"Silence is complicity" says Miguel Adrover in social media post

Catalonia's biggest musical artist, Rosalia, has been rejected for a collaboration by Mallorcan fashion designer Miguel Adrover for not "publicly" supporting Palestine.
Adrover posted on his social media channels an email exchange between representatives of the two aritsts, in which Rosalia's agents are seeking a "custom look" for the musician for an event in September or October.
The response from Adrover's people is frank and to the point - "I'm sorry but Miguel doesn't work with any artist who doesn't publicly support Palestina."
"Silence is complicity," the designer wrote in the caption to the post, "and even more so when you have a big loudspeaker where millions of people listen to you when you sing."
Adrover wrote that Rosalia has the "responsibility" to use her power and influence to "denounce this genocide."
The Mallorcan also pointed out that the move was "nothing personal" and added that he admires the singer "for all your talent and for everything you've achieved."
Finally, he encouraged Rosalia to "do the right thing" and signed off with a reference to the Catalan's latest album, writing "MOTOMAMI❤️"
In a follow up comment on the same post, Adrover questioned "what would Rosalia's fans do" if they say the singer suffering similar hardship as what Palestinians have been subjected to in the past two years, from "being humiliated, deprived of food," or that her house was "bombed" and family "murdered."
"What would Rosalia's fans do, would they do the right thing? I think so," he wrote.
