Rosalía's album Lux leaked online two days before its official release
Catalan singer's song Reliquia was published and unpublished in matter of hours on Tuesday

The upcoming album by Catalan singer Rosalía, Lux, has been fully leaked on social media two days before its official release. The record is scheduled to be released on Friday.
Catalan News confirmed that the album's 18 songs were shared online, and thousands of fans continued to forward the content.
The 18 tracks were already available at 11 pm on Tuesday, as this media outlet can confirm.
The leak follows a previous leak of the song Reliquia, which was published and later unpublished from the streaming platform Spotify in a matter of hours on Tuesday afternoon.
The song talks about love and heartbreak and is sung in Spanish language. In an interview with the US newspaper, The New York Times, Rosalía confirmed that the upcoming album has 13 languages.
Reliquia was the second track made available, before the album was leaked, after the release of Berghain.
The upcoming album will be published on Friday, November 7, with several listening parties scheduled before. In Barcelona, there will be an exclusive one on Wednesday night.
After the album was leaked, some users on social media joked that this was their "listening party," while others defended their actions, saying that "they listened to it online, but they will also listen to the album on YouTube, Spotify, and all available platforms."
The album features numerous collaborations, including some returning partnerships, such as Björk, who previously worked with Rosalía in 2023 on the song 'Oral.'
Other collaborators include Carminho, Estrella Morente, Silvia Pérez Cruz and Yahritza.
The record also features contributions from the Escolania de Montserrat choir and the Chamber Choir of the Palau de la Música Catalana.
Four movements, 18 tracks
Lux, released by Columbia Records, is an "immersive and innovative work," exploring a "broad emotional arc of feminine mysticism and transcendence."
It will be Rosalía's fourth album and is divided into four movements. The physical editions include 18 tracks, while the digital version has 15.
MOV I includes five tracks: 'Sexo, violencia y llantas,' 'Reliquia,' 'Divinize,' 'Porcelana,' and 'Mio Cristo.'
MOV II continues with 'Berghain,' released today, as well as 'La Perla,' 'Mundo Nuevo,' and 'De Madrugá.'
MOV III features 'Dios es un Stalker,' 'La Yugular,' 'Sauvignon Blanc,' and two songs exclusive to physical formats: 'Focu 'Ranni',' and 'Jeanne.'
MOV IV contains the final four tracks: 'Novia Robot' (exclusive to physical formats), 'La Rumba del Perdón,' 'Memória,' and 'Magnolias,' which closes the album.
