40 slopes open in La Molina
Meanwhile, La Molina resort is also looking forward to a busy weekend and has 40 of its 66 slopes open, providing 38 kilometers of snow to ski on.
La Molina's head of marketing, Marta Viver, said the resort is "very happy" with the recent snowfall and described the current quality of the snow as "spectacular."
On Friday, strong winds caused some of resort's higher areas to be closed, but Viver said the cold weather means the state of the snow will ensure a "really good weekend."
