Taxis “use violence to put pressure on government,” says Cabify driver

Barcelona's Diagonal avenue remains occupied by Cabify and Uber employees protesting against violent attacks by taxi drivers, who are on strike to demand tougher regulation against ridesharing services. Stefano Panitti, one of the protests' organizer, accuses the Catalan government of conceding to taxi drivers' tactics and "not listening" to ride-hailing apps.
