Ridesharing association calls on Catalan minister to step down

Ridesharing association Unauto has called on Catalan minister Damià Calvet to step down following his new proposal to regulate companies like Uber and Cabify, which they see as a concession to taxi drivers. Ridesharing companies accuse Calvet of failing to face "violent groups" among taxi drivers, responsible for vandalizing several Uber and Cabify vehicles.
