Josep Costa: “Catalans will not accept Spain suspending our autonomy”

The vice president of the Catalan parliament, Josep Costa, responded on Friday to a motion passed by the Extremadura regional parliament urging the central government in Madrid to impose direct rule in Catalonia: "Triggering Article 155 against Catalonia indefinitely would not suspend self-rule, but democracy. Most Catalans will not accept Spain suspending our autonomy."
