Barcelona taxis go on indefinite strike

Taxi drivers in the Barcelona area started an indefinite strike on Friday to demand tougher regulations against ridesharing companies like Uber and Cabify. Cabs blocked Gran Via, one of the city's main avenues, as one of their first protest actions.
