12-Jun-23: 'President aims to reach end of mandate with cabinet reshuffle'
Catalan president Pere Aragonès reshuffled his cabinet prompted by the climate action minister running in the Spanish election for Esquerra Republicana. The departments of territory and education have also been given new ministers. Teresa Jordà, Juli Fernández, and Josep González-Cambray will be replaced by David Mascort, Ester Capella, and Anna Simó, respectively. Aragonès aims to finish the mandate and hold the next election in February 2025.
