10-May-23: 'Consumer agency opens sanctioning process against rail operator Renfe'
The Catalan Consumer Agency has opened a sanctioning process against Renfe for the R2 South commuter train service disruption. Renfe's infractions are considered very serious and could carry fines going from 100,000 to a million euros. It comes one day after another incident, this time on the R3 line, where an overhead wire went on fire.
