Barcelona (FCB).- The two top teams in the group meet at the Parken Stadium, with Barça currently leading on 7 points, one ahead of the Danes, with Rubin Kazan on 2 and Panathinaikos on just 1 point.

With the next group game in Greece just a few days ahead of the Madrid match, Guardiola will be looking for a win tonight to give his players the comfort of pretty much having wrapped up their qualification for the next round.

On good form

The team have travelled to Denmark with their morale high after recent results and performances. The 5-0 demolition of Seville at the weekend was their fifth win on the run and their fourth clean sheet in a row, as the defence’s strength has begun to click with the attacking instincts to create some fantastic football.

Guardiola has taken 19 players for the game – 17 from the first team squad, with just the suspended Pinto and injured Jeffren missing, as well as Miño and Thiago from the B team.

Great start for Danes too

Barça’s sweet moment is reflected in the Danish team’s current form. Copenhagen showed in the Nou Camp just why they’ve made such a successful start to the season as one of the revelations of the Champions League so far. The Danes have made a record start to their domestic season and that’s in large part due to their efficiency at home at the Parken Stadium, where they won their last Champions League game, beating Rubin Kazin with a late Ndoye strike.
