Barcelona (FCB).- Jordi Alba visited the FC Barcelona offices this Wednesday and posed for the traditional photo in front of Barça’s logo. The visit is the first step in a busy 36 hours for the team’s latest signing and recent Euro 2012 winner.

After the photo and a brief interview with Barça TV, Alba will part in a celebratory reception in his home town of Hospitalet this evening, before a thorough medical at the FC Barcelona’s venues in the morning, followed by the official signing ceremony.

Alba will be presented to the audience at the Camp Nou on Thursday at 17.00 (CET) and he will then hold a press conference in the Catalan club’s venues.

Number 18 shirt

Jordi Alba will wear the number 18 shirt with Barça’s first team next season – the same number he wore in the Euro 2012 tournament and which was not used at FC Barcelona last season. Previously, Milito, Ezquerro and Gabri amongst others, have worn the number 18.
