Several hotels in Barcelona offer discounted rooms when buying theatre tickets
Bookings to enjoy a 15% price reduction when staying in city after show
Around 70 hotels in Barcelona will offer a 15% discount if the room booking is accompanied by a theatre ticket for the same night.
Theatergoers will have to show their pass while doing the check-in in an initiative that goes from October 15 to November 27.
The initiative is part of the 'Gaudim junts del Teatre (Let's enjoy theatre altogether) campaign promoted by Barcelona's hotels' associations in collaboration with the city council and the Catalan theatre companies' association.
The goal is to encourage people to go and watch some of the city's shows and to spend one night in the Catalan capital.
Overall, there are 78 hotels taking part in the campaign, and those who wish to enjoy the discount will have to book the room by phone or by email directly with the hotel.
These hotels are distributed across the city, from Ciutat Vella's Hotel Arts and W Barcelona, or Eixample's H10 Casanova, Room Mate Gerard, among others.
The hotels' association has already made clear that this discount is not applicable to other offers in place.
