Catalan police are investigating the death of a 47-year-old man killed from a gunshot in a hair salon in Barcelona’s Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district on Saturday night.

Currently there are no detainees from the incident, but police are not discounting any hypotheses or possible reasons, as Spanish newspaper La Vanguardia report that the perpetrator did not steal from the establishment. Police were originally called to the scene for a possible robbery of the hairdresser’s shop.

The victim, a 47-year-old man of Spanish nationality, died from a gunshot when he went to the shop to meet his wife.

When the police agents arrived at the scene, they found a man lying on the floor with signs of violence. The staff of the Medical Emergency System could not do anything to save their lives and certified their death.
