The Department of Health has proposed to the Civil Protection body that bars and restaurants be allowed to open their interiors at 50% capacity in the city of Lleida and six towns in the Baix Segre area.

Health authorities argue that given the evolution of Covid-19 in this area and the weather conditions these days, the interior spaces of these establishments can be allowed to reopen.

Lleida and some surrounding towns have been under stricter restrictive measures for the last number of weeks following a high number of coronavirus cases and outbreaks detected in the area.

If allowed to open these spaces again, it is requested that consumption is always done at tables and it is still recommended to maintain caution and take all protective measures, such as distance, hand washing and wearing masks, taking into account that the situation remains committed and with high incidence.
