Catalan police launch manhunt after shooting in Badalona
Shots fired near school lead to 20-minute lockdown for students
Catalan police Mossos d'Esquadra are searching for a man who allegedly shot someone in the streets of Badalona on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident took place near a school, where students were locked in for around 20 minutes as a precaution.
The gunman opened fire in the Font i Cussó square as he left the Delta drug rehabilitation centre in the Dalt la Vila area.
The city council said the local police and the Mossos d'Esquadra were working together on the investigation.
The injured person was taken to hospital.
