The Catalan Media Corporation signed an agreement with the Democratic Memorial Institution to compile this audiovisual content.

Since its beginnings, Catalan public television and radio have made a strong commitment to creating an oral memory databank, which will now be made public.

The incorporation of this archive will make it the biggest databank ever of this type in Europe. At the signing of the agreement, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Raül Romeva, said that this joint effort will allow for ”sharing historical memory with one click.”
