Alleged rapist of woman who left dead newborn in bin in La Bisbal d'Empordà arrested
Suspect released after none of the parties involved requested detention
Catalan police Mossos d'Esquadra arrested on Thursday the alleged rapist of the woman who left a dead baby in a bin in the center of the northern Catalan town of La Bisbal d'Empordà.
The suspect was released with the obligation to appear in court whenever necessary after none of the parties requested precautionary measures.
According to the woman, the baby was the result of being raped by the man arrested and was born dead.
All this unfolded as a result of the investigation launched by the police on January 2, after the baby was found dead.
