The Catalan New Year’s Eve lottery shares prizes across the country, with Barcelona, El Prat and Terrassa among the top winner towns

The biggest prizes of the New Year's Eve's Catalan lottery went to Barcelona and two big towns in the nearby areas: El Prat del Llobregat –home to the city airport- and Terrassa. The first prize of the Catalan lottery pays €200,000 per ticket.

Central Catalonia got the second prize, with €65,000 per ticket. The small villages of Masies de Boltregà and Sant Feliu Sasseres were the lucky ones there.

 If you have been in Catalonia and have bought some lottery tickets in Barcelona, check it out as the capital also sold the third prize, number 11.825. Other cities such as Badia del Vallès, in the metropolitan area, and Centelles, in Central Catalonia, also sold the number.

The fourth prizes, 54790 and 59743, were sold in Mataró, Tona and southern towns of Valls and Salou. Finally, the fifth prizes 46319, 54825 and 64654 were also sold in Barcelona and Valls, Banyoles (northern Catalonia) and Vilanova del Vallès.
