Barcelona public transport adjusts timetables during Christmas holidays 

All-night service on New Year’s Eve for metro, local trains and TRAM

Barcelona’s public transportation system will adapt its timetable during the Christmas period from December 24 to January 6, 2024, according to the Metropolitan Transport Authority (ATM). 

On December 24 the metro and the Catalan local trains, Ferrocarrils and Rodalies, will stop running at 11pm, while the TRAM and busses will depart for the last time at 10pm. 

On Christmas Day, December 25, public transport will run from 5am to 2am the following day, except local Rodalies trains that will run between 7am and 2am. 

On December 26 public transport will operate until midnight.  

Busses will follow their regular schedules both days. 

On New Year’s Eve, December 31, the metro, local trains, and trams will run all night.  

For Three Kings Day, January 6, public transportation will operate according to the regular holiday schedule. 

Night buses will run according to their regular schedule, although ATM will increase the number of departures on some lines.
