€7 signature drinks at this week's Barcelona Cocktail Experience
First edition of the event lasts until October 9
The Barcelona Cocktail Experience, with more than 150 bars and hotels selling their signature drinks for €7, will be taking place until Sunday.
The drinks are created specially for this event, making it, according to organizers, a unique chance to try them out as the venues have teamed up with some of the biggest brands in the industry to offer many different tastes.
An official €20 wristband must be bought first in order to purchase cocktails. After ordering it online it will be available in different pickup points around the city. Afterwards, you can have cocktails at Paradiso, Ideal, Tandem and many other places.
Not only will there be cheaper cocktails, but there will also be several events taking place all around the city, such as masterclasses, concerts and guest bartendings as part of what is considered to be Spain's most important cocktail event.
The events take many different shapes, from Italian flair champion Giorgio Chiarelli guest bartending on Tuesday, to chef Albert Serra cooking in Casa Astor while saxophonist Matei Sax plays a concert on Wednesday, or becoming bartender for the night with Roku Gin on Thursday. This, of course, will be followed by a weekend filled with Bloody Mary-infused brunches.
