The Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona brings in the summer with new late night hours

The MACBA will open late for its summer season. Every Thursday and Friday from today to the 13th of September visitors can enjoy Barcelona?s Museum of Contemporary Art (MACBA) until midnight.

Barcelona (CNA).- Starting today, the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art (MACBA) will be open until midnight twice a week, Thursdays and Fridays. The late-night initiative will continue until the 13th of September, allowing tourists and locals to enjoy its exhibitions outside of its usual hours.
The museum will also organise a series of events to correspond with these new hours, including film screenings, nocturnal gatherings, and performances. The summer events, entitled “Nights at the MACBA”, will include happenings related to current exhibitions as well as a bar where visitors can relax over a drink. Nightly guided tours of the exhibitions “I am Immortal and Alive” by Gil J. Wolman, “With a Probability of Being Seen” by Dorothee and Konrad Fischer, and “Parallel” by Benet Rossell will also be offered.
