Since then, over 55 million people have watched the video featuring several women driving motorcycles around the suburbs of a North American city.

While the Catalan performer won Best Editing, she fell short in the other two categories she was competing in

She was dethroned by Jack Harlow, an American rapper, who won the Song of the Summer for his hit ‘First Class’ and shared the Best Collaboration award with Lil Nas X for their song ‘Industry Baby’.

This is not the first time MTV has awarded Rosalía. Last year, she took home the MTV award for the best Latin video of the year, and in 2019, her single 'Con Altura' with J Balvin won the MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA), as well as her collaboration with Billie Eilish, “Lo vas a olvidar”.
