The singer Rosalía has received two nominations at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards for “La fama” in the category of best collaboration with The Weeknd and for best editing with 'Saoko' video clip, two songs from her latest album “Motomami”.

In the best collaboration category, she is competing against other famed names in the music industry including Elton John and Dua Lipa with their single "Cold Heart” by Interscope Records.

Regarding best editing, she has been nominated alongside Taylor Swift with "All Too Well" and Doja Cat with "Get Into It (Yuh)", just to mention a few.

MTV has previously awarded Rosalía. Last year, she took home the MTV award for the best Latin video of the year, and in 2019, her single 'Con Altura' with  J Balvin won the MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA), as well as her collaboration with Billie Eilish, “Lo vas a olvidar”.

Fans are able to vote for their favorite stars across 22 gender-neutral categories, including video of the year, artist of the year, best collaboration, and two all-new categories named best long-form video and best metaverse performance.

The gala will take place at New Jersey's Prudential Center on Sunday, August 28. Other artists who are nominated this year are Jack Harlow, Kendrick Lamar and Lil Nas X with seven nominations each.
