10-hour music marathon brought together jazz lovers to enjoy rhythms of New Orleans

This Sunday, Passeig de Gràcia turned into an open-air jazz club for the city to enjoy, for free, a 10-hour jazz marathon as part of the Festival de Jazz Barcelona.
From midday to 10 pm the city center grooved, championing jazz as a music that symbolizes freedom, dialogue, and coexistence.
Girona-based Sunset Rhythm Kings, kicked off the event with a sextet that has brought the rhythms of early 20th-century New Orleans.
Jazz lovers didn't miss the band's energy, improvising a dancefloor for people to follow the music's beats and others to interact with musicians.
The 58th edition of the Jazz festival started on April 18 and runs through November 28.
Here's a selection of some of the best photographs from the day in Barcelona.
