Palau de la Música schedules international and Catalan emerging artists for next season
Barcelona music hall organizes 179 concerts with Mexican Gabriela Ortiz and Catalan Josep Ollé as guest conductors

The Palau de la Música music hall has scheduled 179 concerts by international figures and Catalan emerging artists for the 2025-26 season. In addition to these gigs, the hall will also host 180 more events addressed to families and schools.
Overall, there will be performances of 45 Catalan composers, 29 contemporary and 16 heritage, and there will be 120 singers and performers, as well as 29 premieres.
The hall has invited Mexican composer Gabriela Ortiz and Catalan Josep Ollé as the season's guest conductors, while resident groups will be Kebyart, Trio Fortuny, and Frames Percussion.
Ortiz will premiere compositions from the Palau, such as 'Mujer ángel' and Ollé's works will be premiered by the Orfeó Català, such as 'Te Deum.'

The modernist music hall, one of the most unique and beautiful in the world, will also invest in the 'Generació C,' emerging Catalan talent performing in contemporary choirs.
Some of the international artists will be Simon Rattle, Anne-Sophie Mutter, Zubin Mehta, and Lang Lang, as well as Yuja Wang, Julia Kleiter, Andràs Schiff, Isata Kanehh-mason, and Grigori Sokolov. The music hall will also see performances by Cecilia Bartoli, Núria Rial, and María Dueñas.
