Stay Homas, the Barcelona-based musical trio that took the online world by storm in spring, have announced that they will release their debut album 'Agua' on December 11.

The group, made up of flatmates Klaus Stroink, Guillem Boltó, and Rai Benet, went viral during lockdown with their home-recorded songs of confinement, or as they termed it, "confination".

As revealed by the band in May, their album will be released by Sony, their second recording with the major label, following the five-song Desconfination mixtape in July.

Stay Homas tweeted news of the upcoming release on Sunday, joking that they were "not nervous, almost."

The band are known for their collaborations, and one of their songs 'Gotta Be Patient' even caught the attention of Canadian superstar Michael Bublé, who recorded a cover version for a Covid-19 fundraiser.

In July, they performed live for their fans for the first time, a whopping 24 songs in almost as many genres, sung in a mix of languages including English, Catalan, Spanish and Portuguese, as part of Barcelona's Grec Festival.
