Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick to receive Grand Honorary Prize at Sitges Film Festival

After revealing that Peter Jackson, Danny DeVito, and Amy Irving would attend the 2026 Sitges Film Festival to receive the Grand Honorary Prize, the festival has announced more award recipients with actors Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick. 

Bacon and Sedgwick, who have been married since 1988, will visit the Sitges Festival to present Family Movie, a horror comedy the couple directed and starred in together alongside their children, Sosie and Travis. YouPlanet will distribute the film in Spain.

Actresses Meiko Kaji and Adrienne Barbeau will also be honored in the WomanInFan awards category. 

Mònica Garcia, from the Sitges Festival Foundation, also announced on Monday more actresses that will be at the festival, including Judith Light, who will present the series The Terror: Devil in Silver, Summer H. Howell, who will be accompanied by Samantha Sloyan, and Barbara Crampton.

The festival is Catalonia's leading international terror and fantasy event and features films that explore fantasy, horror and science fiction genres.
