Girona all set for filming of Disney's live-action 'Tangled'
Girona Cathedral welcomes 500 people to film and implements restrictions for visiting

Another movie set has found its way to Girona. The live-action filming of 'Tangled' brings 500 people to the town.
The Girona Cathedral, which has been home to the set of Game of Thrones, Agnosia and The Monk, is going to be featured on the big screen again.
Disney's live adaptation of 'Tangled,' the story of Rapunzel, is transforming the interior and the staircase of the Cathedral for the film.
The inside of the church now features curtains hung on the arches and additional scenery including seats and sculptures.
Filming on the closed set begins on Tuesday, with restrictions on entry and guided tours of the Cathedral.
To maintain secrecy, Disney will close streets and add screens to prevent any details of production from being revealed early.
During the approximately two weeks of filming there will also be days when it is not possible to enter the Cathedral.

The filming will end on August 3 and will go beyond the Cathedral, expanding into the Old Town, the fountain and gardens of the Cathedral, Pujada de Sant Domènec and the walls of Girona.
Around the city, signs have been installed marking restricted and closed areas.
Girona will host the movie's main characters who are played by actors Kathryn Hahn, Milo Manheim and Taegan Croft.
Actor Milo Manheim is already in Catalonia, and was celebrating Spain's world cup win Sunday night in Barcelona.
Catalonia is a hot spot for filming due to its strikingly diverse locations, state-of-the-art studios, and a highly developed industry support ecosystem.
