The video for the song ‘Coti x Coti' by the Catalan music duo The Tyets was the most viewed music video in Catalan in 2023. In total, the video was viewed 5,562,100 times on YouTube, according to Catalan music magazine Enderrock.

'Coti x Coti' was followed by 'La platja' by Stay Homas and The Tyets, 'La nòria' by Stay Homas, 'Mussegu' by Figa Flawas, and 'La nit està que crema' by Buhos, each of which all received more than one million views.

51% increase in overall views

In total, the one hundred Catalan-language music videos released in 2023 were viewed 31,342,200 times, the highest total number of views in four years, which also represents a 51% increase from 2022 and an “important step forward,” according to Enderrock, who started counting views in 2017.

2023 is the year with the second highest number of views of music videos in Catalan after 2019, when Rosalia released her song 'Milionària' in Catalan, according to the magazine.

The song 'Coti x Coti' took Catalans by storm in 2023, and in June, it had been streamed more than 7.5 million times during the year. The song combines reggaeton with sardana, a type of traditional Catalan music that accompanies a dance of the same name.
