The Barcelona Contemporary Art Museum is welcoming the 2019 exhibition year with an exhibit by Swiss-American visual artist Christian Marclay – an artist that hasn’t been featured in Spain for over a decade.

Various projects

The space will also feature a monographic exhibition on the minimalism of Charlotte Posenenske, the first solo display for Greek artist Takis, as well as a collective project of reflective art on postcolonialism.

This year, MACBA will also welcome in its collection the work ‘On Subjectivity’ by Antoni Muntadas (1978), one by Roberto Obregón, and one by Marcos Ávila Forero.

Then, for the years 2020 and 2021, MACBA is foreseeing exhibits on the performance art from the 90s, a monographic display on Fina Miralles, and another featuring Grego.
