The Catalan magician Antonio Díaz, internationally renowned as El Mago Pop, performed a magic trick on NBC's live TODAY show.

While on his first appearance on live US television, Díaz did a "mind-blowing" trick where he teleported four people from one end to the other of the Rockefeller Plaza in New York.

The trick, seen by seven million viewers, consisted of four volunteers, picked at random, who entered a rotating cristal platform situated a few meters from an identical platform, just across the Rockefeller Plaza. Once the cristal boxes were covered, El Mago Pop did his magic and teleported the four people into the second platform.

Both the show presenters and spectators in the Plaza were amazed by Mago Pop's performance: "This is incredible!" Hoda Kotb and Carson Daly, TODAY's anchors, screamed when people were transported.

Mago Pop will be debuting on the Barrymore Theatre on Broadway next August 17 with his show "Nothing is impossible" (Nada es imposible), becoming the youngest illusionist to ever perform at the heart of the American commercial theatrical industry. "I am really excited, being on Broadway is my dream," Díaz confessed when being interviewed on the TODAY Show.

After his debut, Mago Pop intends to stop by New York regularly in the future. In order to have "headquarters" in the United States he bought a theater in Missouri, the Branson Magic Theater.

Back in February 2022, El Mago Pop reached an astounding number of 2 million viewers of his shows during his career.
