Stay Homas, the Barcelona trio that went viral during lockdown with their home-recorded songs of "confination", are the special music guests at the first ever international virtual Mainstage from New York storytelling nonprofit The Moth.

Saturday's event, 'Bound and Determined: Stories of Breaking Loose', will be hosted by stand-up comedian Sara Barron and feature stories of "speaking out, doubling down, and rising up" from Berlin, Johannesburg, London and Nairobi.

Musical entertainment will be provided by Stay Homas, whose original lockdown-inspired tunes broadcast from their Eixample rooftop serenaded countless fans arounds the globe earlier this year, with one of their songs 'Gotta Be Patient' even catching the attention of Canadian superstar Michael Bublé, who recorded a cover version for a Covid-19 fundraiser.

In July, they performed live for their fans for the first time, a whopping 24 songs in almost as many genres, sung in a mix of languages including English, Catalan, Spanish and Portuguese, as part of Barcelona's Grec Festival.

The Moth International Virtual MainStage will be broadcast on Zoom on September 26 from 8.15 pm CEST. Tickets cost €14.50 and are available via The Moth's website.
