Famous for hits like "Chulo," "Comernos," and "Da Me," with collaborations alongside international stars such as Omar Montes, Rauw Alejandro, Chencho Corleone, and J Balvin, Barcelona-based Bad Gyal once again leaves her mark on the urban music scene.

With Dominican producer Cromo X as executive producer, Bad Gyal, Alba Farelo's stage name, stays true to her signature sound while expanding her musical range on her new album "Más Cara."

The album blends a variety of Caribbean genres and subgenres, including reggaeton, R&B, electronic, dancehall, merengue house, guaracha, Jamaican shatta, and Haitian kompa.

While urban music remains at the core, the project explores a wider sonic palette, reflecting diverse influences as the album was created across Miami, Puerto Rico, Colombia, and Spain.

The album is deeply personal, inspired by songs that connect her to her adolescence and the early musical experiences that shaped her identity as Bad Gyal.

Released alongside the album on March 6 is the music video for "Un coro y ya :)," showcasing power and sensuality, immersing viewers in a distorted, dreamlike perception of a night out in Barcelona.

Bad Gyal reclaims spaces in urban music historically dominated by men in the new album, taking elements traditionally seen as masculine, such as heavy beats, voice-centered structures, and expressions of desire.

On "Da Me," a track that quickly went viral on social media, she sings: "He uses the gun with intention, he switches my position / He likes it when I get violent."

On "Fashion Killa," she adds: "I already looked nice when I was alone, I am missing nothing, but baby, you make me look even sexier."

Más Cara features collaborations with well-known artists such as Chencho Corleone, Ozuna, J Alvarez, and the late Jadiel el Incomparable, as well as emerging voices shaping urban music like Maureen and 8belial.

Tour kicks off in March

Bad Gyal will bring the new album to the stage during her 2026 tour, starting on March 20 at Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona.

The tour has already sold out multiple dates, with limited tickets remaining for the third shows in Barcelona and Madrid.
