The pioneering electronic music festival will feature over 100 concerts and DJ sets, plus masterclasses, talks, and debate forums.

The musical line-up includes some of the biggest stars of contemporary electronic music and renowned DJs from club culture, as well as dozens of emerging artists.

On Friday June 16, Aphex Twin will return to perform at Sónar, 12 years after his last appearance at the festival. He’ll perform a brand-new audiovisual show at SonarClub, Sónar by Night’s biggest venue.

Sónar by Day runs from 3pm to midnight on June 15, 16 and 17, with Sónar by Night running from 8.30pm to 7am on June 16 and 17.

All types of tickets are now on sale for Sónar Barcelona 2023, including individual tickets for each of the Sónar by Night events at Fira Gran Via, SonarPasses, VIP SonarPasses and Delegate Passes, plus 2-Night tickets and individual day tickets for Sónar by Day.

Sónar+D

The festival’s international meeting of art, science, and digital culture, Sónar+D, will be "the most open and interactive in the event’s history," with two stages hosting music right in the heart of the festival and over a hundred different activities, including masterclasses, debate forums, talks, and a project exhibition area.

The 11th edition of Sónar+D will take place on the same dates as the music festival, June 15, 16 and 17, and will pay close attention to the cultural, ethical, economic, and industrial implications of the new tools and creative processes linked to artificial intelligence.

At the side-show, visitors will be able to see, listen, touch, and debate how AI is applied to music and audiovisual production.

Debates will also address the possible threats of the increasingly widespread use of AI and study how to protect intellectual property in this new realm.
