Pere Aragonès lays out future government agenda in parliament speech

<p>Pere Aragonès <a href="../../../../../politics/item/pere-aragones-appeals-to-left-wing-majority-for-a-catalan-republic-in-push-to-become-president" target="_blank">spoke in the Catalan parliament on Friday</a> to lay out the political agenda he will pursue if he's elected head of government: "The government I want to lead will have three clear goals: dealing with the social emergency and with inequalities compounded by the pandemic; launching an economic reconstruction which will lay the foundations of a new productive model, which will assess its strengths in terms of prosperity and wellbeing for everybody; and helping solve the political conflict with Spain, making an amnesty and self-determination inevitable."</p> / ACN
