Catalan mayors hold event in Madrid to denounce police violence on October 1

The truth of October the 1: this is the name of the event, and this is what some Catalan mayors say they are telling about the independence referèndum in 2017. The act brought to madrid 11 mayors out of the 19 Catalan the towns used by the Spanish judge in his case for rebellion – which involves violence. And they are accusing Spanish officials who took the stand of lying and manipulating the truth. High ranking Spanish officials have so far said that Police actions were proportionate, there were no injured, and that voters – not the Police - were violent, and indeed the judges presiding over the case have banned vídeos from being shown. This act began with various videos being shown, compared to statements heard in the trial. This is also the same day the a Police offical who was in callus during the referèndum is set to testify – along with the key witness for the week, Catalonia’s Police second in command during the referèndum.
