Spain's inflation rises 0.1% in October to 3.1%
Increase driven by higher electricity and transport costs

Spain's inflation increased by 0.1% in October compared with the previous month, reaching 3.1%, according to data released on Thursday by the National Statistics Institute (INE).
The slight rise was mainly driven by higher electricity prices, as well as increases in air and rail transport costs.
These increases, however, were partly offset by a drop in fuel prices.
Core inflation, which excludes unprocessed food and energy products, rose by one-tenth to 2.5%.
