Coca-Cola's Sol Daurella is richest Catalan with €2.9bn, according to Forbes
Puig perfume vice president ranks second with €1.8 billion

Sol Daurella, the chairwoman of Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, is the wealthiest person in Catalonia according to US business magazine Forbes, with an estimated net worth of €2.9 billion.
Daurella takes over from Mango retail fashion chain owner and co-founder, Isak Andic, who passed away last year after a mountain accident. Currently, his son is being investigated by the police as a suspect. Andic had a net worth valued at €2.7 billion in 2023, which increased to €4.5 billion in 2024.
Daurella lost €100 million in net worth, compared to last year, as reported by the magazine. Following the Coca-Cola Europacific Partners' chair is Manuel Puig, the main shareholder of the Puig Group and vice president of the company. He has a net worth of €1.8 billion, an increase of €500 million.
Third in the ranking is Manuel Lao, former owner of the gambling company Cirsa, with €1.7 billion, an increase of €200 million in one year. The company was sold to the investment management group Blackstone in 2018.
Among the 100 richest people in Spain, there are 28 Catalans. Daurella, despite being the richest in Catalonia, is the 12th richest in Spain.
Catalana Occident insurance company's major shareholder, Josep Maria Serra Farré, has €1.6 billion. For the first time, art collector Carmen Thyssen enters the Spanish ranking at 38, with €1.3 billion, and ranks 8 in the Catalan one.
Once again, Spain's richest person is Inditex's major shareholder, Amancio Ortega, owner of fashion brands like Zara, Massimo Dutti, or Pull&Bear, with €109 billio, followed by his daughter Sandra Ortega with €10 billion.
Joan Roig's net worth has increased by 36% in 2025, reaching €7.9 billion. He owns Mercadona grocery stores.
