Barcelona airport sees 4.2 million passengers in November, 5.1% increase on 2024
Figure is new all-time high, continuing with record-breaking trend

The Josep Tarradellas Barcelona El Prat airport saw 4,255,339 passengers in November, an increase of 5.1% compared to 2024 data, as announced on Friday by Spain's airport manager AENA.
The figure is a new all-time high for a month of November, and continues with the record-breaking trend registered in the last months.
Since the start of the year, Barcelona Airport has seen 53,174,609 passengers, a 4.3% increase compared to the same period in 2024, a new record for the infrastructure's history.
Out of the commercial passengers, 3,175,743 flew international flights, which is a 6.8% increase on 2024 figures, and 1,070,834 flew domestic, a 0.6% increase on the last year's data.
During November, there have been 26,753 operations, a 2.8% increase on 2024 figures, and between January and November, there were 333,006 flights, a 3.7% increase.
Other airports in Catalonia managed by AENA, such as Girona-Costa Brava has surpassed the 2.1 million passengers so far since the start of the year, with 40,293 only in November.
Reus registered a 13.2% increase between January and November, compared to 2024, with 1,335,975 passengers in total.
In Sabadell, the airport has registered 5,012 operations in November, a 4% increase on 2024 figures. During the eleventh month of the year, there were 395 passengers flying from the infrastructure outside of Barcelona.
