EU institutions mark Europe Day in Barcelona
The EU Commission and Parliament delegations to the Catalan capital celebrated Europe Day by displaying a large EU flag in the city center. The 73rd anniversary of the Schuman Declaration was also commemorated with a rendition of Beethoven's 'Ode to Joy, the European Anthem.
