22-May-23: 'No clear winner between three favourites in Barcelona election polls'
Catalans go to the polls on Sunday to elect their new mayors. The Socialists top the polls published by El Periódico and El País newspapers, with former mayor Trias coming second. Roles are reversed for El Nacional, whereas Diari Ara says current mayor Colau will prevail with a tie in second place between the Socialists and Trias. Esquerra is settled as fourth. Meanwhile, far-right Vox, the People's Party and far-left CUP could get councilors.
