18-Jan-24: 'Supreme Court to investigate former Catalan president for terrorism'
Former Catalan president Carles Puigdemont will be among those investigated for terrorism in the Supreme Court after a prosecutor’s appeal was rejected. Puigdemont, Esquerra general secretary Marta Rovira, and ten others are being investigated for their links with grassroots protest group Tsunami Democratic. The investigating judge believes protest actions carried out by the group constitute the crime of terrorism.
