16-Oct-23: 'La Rambla construction completion date brought forward'
The accelerated redevelopment of Barcelona's La Rambla boulevard will be completed by January 2027, three years earlier than first expected. Construction work was planned to finish in 2030 but rather than working from section to section, it will now take place along the length of the avenue starting next June. Work on each side will last 10 months each, before the central trunk goes into redevelopment for one year.
